Founded by two UC Berkeley engineers, Feldy is building technology for physical work because capturing and understanding the real world is genuinely an exciting and uncharted frontier.

Before starting Feldy, Shelby and Zayne worked at leading technology companies, including Realm (YC 11), Dolby Labs, Sunrun and Spire Global. They were previously accepted into Y Combinator’s Winter 2024 batch , and bring deep experience building computer vision, spatial AI, and construction-focused software.

As young homeowners, they repeatedly experienced how difficult it could be to get clear, timely estimates, and to understand what was happening once the work began. Feldy grew out of this frustration.

They believe home improvement should be easier for homeowners and that contractors should be better equipped to win more work and deliver exceptional results - It is a virtuous cycle for our homes: when contractors succeed, homeowners get a better experience!

Feldy helps make that possible by enabling contractors to understand jobs faster, create faster estimates, and grow their businesses while pushing the boundaries of what AI can do for construction tech.
